Hair Antics

This is just a little something from university that we experimented with in class. we learnt how to apply synthetic wigs! it was such a good lesson and id love to incorporate wigs into one of my designs if I can as it can really distinguish a look.
We started by pin-curling the hair if short, and french plaiting around the head if the hair was long. A wig cap was then placed over the curls and plaits to ensure that no clips would dig into the wig and also for hygiene reasons. We experimented with various styles and really got to play! We decided it would be fun to play with the wigs and so we styled them too! This was great fun and really gave us a chance to work with different hair types and styles and see how they affected face shape and other aesthetic aspects.
I loved this seminar and found it super informative!

Thank you to my gorgeous models Emma May and Hermione Stringer!
